NightSky AR turns sky guides into a mobile browser AR view for checking constellations, planets, and bright stars outside.

How the AR sky viewer works

Read a sky guide, choose what you want to find, then open the AR viewer outside to compare constellation lines, planets, and compass direction with the real sky.

Open the page

Start from the browser on a HTTPS connection. No native app install is required.

Tap Start Sky AR

Camera, motion, and location prompts begin only after the user gesture.

Point at the sky

The sky overlay fades in as you aim upward and compare visible stars.

Check alignment

If the direction looks unstable, move away from metal or magnetic cases and restart AR.

Ready to explore the night sky?

Open the AR constellation viewer and compare the sky map with the real sky above you.
